Yesterday we held a Certified Roofing Torch Applicator (CERTA) course at our warehouse, where all of our crew members were able to get refreshed on best practices and newest industry requirements for torching. The CERTA program is a part of the National Roofing Contractors Association and trains experienced roofing technicians on the safe use of roofing torches, which are used to apply polymer-modified bitumen products.
